In addition to producing fence boards and pallet stock lumber, Alta’s zero-wood-waste sawmills produce by-products such as wood chips, sawdust, mulch, and biofuel. Starting at $32.02 – $39.25 per hour DOE. $1.50 per hour shift differential for Swing, Graveyard & Weekend shifts.
Full-time Weekend Shift: Friday – Monday. Overtime may be required as projects or job duties demand.
The main responsibilities of a millwright are to keep the mill running, fix any breakdowns, and maintain machinery to prevent breakdowns. Millwrights may also work on larger projects such as repairing and maintaining cylinders, belts, conveyors, chains, motors, and valves and fabricating new equipment.
This position is classified as "safety-sensitive," meaning an accident could result in loss of life or serious injury. Employees will be subject to comprehensive pre-employment drug screening.
