Job summary

Universal Health Services, Fremont Hospital, is seeking a Per Diem Milieu Therapist to cover weekend shifts. This role supports patients by addressing bio-psycho-social needs, leading therapeutic groups, and coordinating treatment planning with the physician-led team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or a related field and at least 1 year of psychiatric/mental health experience. Licensure such as LCSW/MFT/psychologist is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health or related field required.
• One year direct clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Licensed or eligible: LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Psychologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients in meeting bio-psycho-social needs and provides therapeutic groups and activities.
• Conducts treatment planning and interfaces with the physician-led treatment team.
• Provides clinical consultation and supports unit milieu staff to implement best practices.
