Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd Laboratory in Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for full-time weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 6:00a–6:30p and Monday 6:00a–2:30p).

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, ASCP or AMT certification, and be prepared to meet CLIA '88 standards to perform high complexity testing with adherence to SOPs. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science and high complexity testing.
• Ability to maintain records and generate accurate test results within QC standards.
• Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain performance records and use independent judgement to generate acceptable test results.
