Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in La Crosse, WI to safely transport medical items in a company-owned vehicle. You will operate scanning devices and adhere to schedules while delivering professional service to clients.

The role requires a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, dependability, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with technology. Weekends may be required along with a company vehicle and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and following procedures.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Operate vehicles with dashcam recording systems and comply with laws.
• Able to drive in varying weather and lift items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Maintain safe, courteous driving behavior and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
