Job summary

MedSpeed in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a part-time Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. You’ll spend much of your day in a company-owned vehicle, safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and related materials across routes.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles and demonstrate safe driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties may vary and require flexibility across routes.
