Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a dedicated Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. You will spend most days in a company-owned vehicle, delivering lab specimens, medical records, and supplies while upholding safety, accuracy, and timely service across routes.

You’ll use handheld scanners to track items, follow all procedures, and present a professional image to clients. The role requires reliability, adaptability, and a strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Most of your day will be spent in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, etc.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items throughout the transport cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Perform duties across all routes as assigned; adapt to changing needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and build a collaborative MedSpeed culture.
