Job summary

Tapestry Senior Living - Lakeshore in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Weekend Med Tech to join the care team. You will pass medications safely, document in the eMAR, assist residents with daily activities, and monitor health changes on Saturdays and Sundays.

This part-time weekend role requires an Active Medication Technician Certificate and 1–2 years of Med Tech experience preferred. Competitive benefits are available and we value respectful resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certificate required.
• 1–2 years Med Tech experience in a senior care or medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow care plans, communicate effectively, and document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications safely and accurately to residents, managing a med pass of 20+ residents per shift.
• Document medication administration in the eMAR system.
• Help residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and moving around.
• Watch for changes in residents' health and report concerns promptly.
• Communicate with the care team to keep each shift running smoothly.
• Keep resident care areas clean, safe, and aligned with care plans and state guidelines.
