The role involves operating a Class II sit-down forklift, updating inventory in our systems, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure timely material availability for daily production schedules.

Responsibilities include data accuracy, safety inspections, and following lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Willingness to wear PPE; 6S standards preferred; AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move inbound/outbound materials.
• Update inventory data and locations in systems.
• Verify move requirements and prep daily production schedules for on-time delivery.
• Communicate with supervisors to resolve shortages or discrepancies.
• Complete paperwork/electronic entries for counts and scrap.
• Assist with material requests and additional components as needed.
• Perform safety inspections and battery maintenance for lift equipment.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles and keep work area clean.
