Job summary

Owen Industries in Carter Lake, IA is seeking an Experienced Forklift Operator/Overhead Crane Operator to join our Weekend shift. You will move materials, support production, and help keep operations running smoothly on a 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM schedule Friday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Valid OSHA forklift certification; recertification assistance available.
• Experience with overhead cranes is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials up to 10,000 lbs with precision.
• Load/unload trucks, stage materials, and maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
