Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Associate for the Pike County Operations Production Planning and Control team in Michigan. The role focuses on coordinating production planning and inventory management to ensure timely deliveries for program requirements, with emphasis on SAP/Apriso proficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, strong analytical skills, and the ability to obtain an ATF background check and secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations/SCM/Business/Industrial Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership and internal customers across platforms
• Valid driver’s license and ATF background check eligibility
• Ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Drive production planning and inventory management to meet program requirements
• Develop expertise in SAP and Apriso to optimize production planning
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including supervision, operators, and internal customers
• Manage inventory including new part requests and monitor consumable material levels
• Provide program health information to customers and internal stakeholders
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with Make Part Controller to coordinate kit releases and resolve shortages
• Maintain and monitor PP&C metrics
• Collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders to determine time-phased plans for procured parts
