Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision. You will analyze equipment, set up new machines, read blueprints, and train others while maintaining clean, safe work practices.

The role offers a Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm schedule, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, a 401(k) match, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training required.
• Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the plant using the EAM system.
• Inspect and repair production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others on repair techniques and preventive maintenance.
• Set up new equipment; troubleshoot using specialty tools and select effective repair methods.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
• Apply basic machining skills using a vertical mill and lathe.
• Demonstrate welding and fabrication techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports.
• Follow safety protocols and engage in training initiatives.

Job description

The Weekend Maintenance Technician II will assume advanced tasks relating to the production machines and will troubleshoot when necessary. This positionis responsible for analyzing equipment to troubleshoot problems and making any necessary repairs with minimal oversight from maintenance supervision. This individual is encouraged to develop daily goals/strategies and ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently. Plus, receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus when you join our team!

Work Schedule:

Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm

• Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant.
• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment;assistin machine repairs and train others on proper repair techniques and preventive maintenance practices.
