Job summary

Oxford Industries in Lyons, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the weekend shift to support the 562,000 sq ft automated distribution center. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and automated lines under supervision, focusing on reliability and safety.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3+ years' experience with mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing or distribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, or high-speed sortation equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, dock doors, and air compressors.
• Inspect building systems and document findings accurately.
• Maintain maintenance shop inventory and parts stocking.
• Support repairs and renovations including shelving installation and crate assembly.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, forklifts, packing equipment, and warehouse machinery.
• Assist with automated equipment such as Exotec Skypod systems under supervision.
• Monitor basic PLCs and report anomalies to senior technicians.
• Maintain records of inspections and repairs in the maintenance system.
