Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for Saturday and Sunday duties at our Chicago community. The role focuses on upkeep, completing work orders, and ensuring apartments are move-in ready with timely repairs.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks, respond to after-hours calls, and support safety and disaster procedures while assisting residents with related needs.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; general mechanical and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clear and positive communication with others.
• Self-assured with a can-do attitude.
• Excels at independent work and completing projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders around the community.
• Perform repairs to ready apartments prior to move-ins.
• Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.
• Complete general maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and after-hours calls.
• Maintain knowledge of safety and disaster plans/procedures.
• Maintain office, shop, storage and ensure mechanical areas comply with policies.
• Drive residents to stores or on special trips as needed.
