Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time role with Saturday and Sunday evenings from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The LVN will provide nursing services per physician orders, administer medications, and support residents in a community setting that emphasizes compassionate care.

Essential duties include supervising resident assistants, conducting assessments, coordinating staffing, and overseeing Med Aides and Caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license.
• Minimum one year of experience in health, human services and/or community services.
• Strong interpersonal, judgment and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct resident assistants.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Order and administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Monitor response to existing treatment plans.
• Provide residents with care as needed.
• Assist the Director of Assisted Living with staffing schedules and daily staffing issues.
• Supervise Med Aides and Caregivers.
