Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a Skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for weekend home health visits in Amarillo, Texas. This part-time, hourly position offers one-on-one patient visits and meaningful patient connections across the Texas Panhandle.

The LVN will follow each patient’s plan of care, perform wound care and medications, monitor condition, and document visits. Texas LVN license, BLS/CPR, and reliable transport are required. Weekend schedule and per-visit pay apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience
• Active, unrestricted Texas LVN license
• Wound care experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to manage visits with minimal supervision
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting

Responsibilities

• Follow each patient’s plan of care
• Perform wound care, medication administration, and other ordered treatments
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about ongoing needs
• Communicate with physicians and the care team
• Complete accurate visit documentation
