BAYADA Home Health Care seeks an LPN for weekend pediatric private duty nursing focusing on trach and vent clients. The role involves traveling to family homes, following physician orders, and delivering high-quality care in a private duty setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with diploma.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose.
• Follow doctors' orders, document and monitor clients' conditions.
• Perform assessments and provide hands-on care per plan.
• Document observations, interventions and evaluations.
• Provide autonomous care in the home setting.

Immediate need for Weekend Trach and Vent Nurses!

Our BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is interested in Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN ) who have a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality of care delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability.

Currently have an immediate need to weekend pediatric trach and vent nurses.

• On your paid first day, you can expect to meet the team and we will go over your availability and discuss possible schedules that will fit your lifestyle and our client needs. You will meet with our clinical educator and schedule any training you may need or want. Lunch will be provided and some BAYADA swag!
• During your paid Orientation, you will work on some training with our clinical educator in the SIM lab. Documentation training, fit testing and ID badge will also be completed. All training is paid as well! We also provide you with refreshments.
• On your first day in the client home, you will be orientating with another BAYADA nurse to make sure you feel comfortable and it's a good fit.

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits:

• Traditional shifts (8's, 10's or 12's)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Building client relationships and watching their milestones
• Client age ranges from infant to young adult.

Qualifications for a private duty LPN:

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay up to $40/hour based on client care and shift
