Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for weekend shifts with one-on-one care for pediatric patients. Join our compassionate Skilled Nursing Team to provide high-quality care to children in a nurturing environment.

Pediatric Weekend Shifts with One-on-One Care!

Immediate need for Weekend Trach and Vent Nurses!

Our BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is interested in Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN ) who have a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality of care delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability.

Currently have an immediate need to weekend pediatric trach and vent nurses.

• On your paid first day, you can expect to meet the team and we will go over your availability and discuss possible schedules that will fit your lifestyle and our client needs. You will meet with our clinical educator and schedule any training you may need or want. Lunch will be provided and some BAYADA swag!
• During your paid Orientation, you will work on some training with our clinical educator in the SIM lab. Documentation training, fit testing and ID badge will also be completed. All training is paid as well! We also provide you with refreshments.
• On your first day in the client home, you will be orientating with another BAYADA nurse to make sure you feel comfortable and it’s a good fit.

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits:

• Traditional shifts (8’s, 10’s or 12’s)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Building client relationships and watching their milestones
• Client age ranges from infant to young adult.

• Document observations, interventions and evaluations

Qualifications for a private duty LPN:

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay up to $40/hour based on client care and shift
