Job summary

Silver Creek Materials is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist for weekend shifts to protect operations by inspecting loads, verifying material standards, documenting discrepancies, and preventing contamination and loss. The role emphasizes vigilance, accuracy, and proactive issue identification to safeguard safety, equipment, product quality, and profitability.

The ideal candidate is observant, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication and judgment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability or work additional hours as necessary to meet business needs.
Must like working outside.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe environment through patrol, access control, monitoring, and equipment control.
Observe and report suspicious activity and trespassers.
Patrol property and monitor assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter.
Investigate and take appropriate lawfully action per corporate policy on incidents and safety.
Control and monitor surveillance equipment and perform inspections.
Guard access points and manage entry during start and end of business hours.
Conduct fire watch duties using FLIR and water truck setup.
