Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking an LMRT or Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams on a part-time basis. The role requires collaboration with patients, families, and interdepartmental staff while upholding safety, confidentiality, and clinic policies.

The position covers every other weekend, with responsibilities including image QC, proper exposure settings, and adherence to Texas licensure requirements and ARRT standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program meeting Texas LMRT requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent with AMA-approved radiologic technology training.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred; digital radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures with proper positioning and exposure settings.
• QC images and ensure patient protection per safety standards.
• Notify supervisor of equipment repair needs and maintain compliance with policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate patient care.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
