Job summary

Visiting Angels in Bowie, MD is seeking a reliable, experienced Certified Nursing Assistant licensed in Maryland to provide quality weekend in-home care for a Live-In caregiver position.

The role covers Friday to Monday shifts, requires a Maryland CNA license, CPR, 2+ years of home health experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, reliable transportation, and a compassionate approach to support clients at home.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA license required
• Current CPR certification required
• Negative PPD test or Chest X-ray
• Minimum 2 years of experience in home health care
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Criminal background check required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Provide a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Perform light housekeeping and home management duties
• Plan and prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences
• Follow the nursing plan of care and maintain accurate care records
• Encourage independence, mental alertness, and emotional well-being through companionship
• Attend required in-service training and maintain compliance with regulations
