Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking reliable, experienced CNAs licensed in Maryland for a Weekend Live-In position in Bowie, MD.

Shifts run Friday 8:00 am to Monday 8:00 am. In-home, in-person care with flexible weekday, evening, and weekend options. You’ll support clients with ADLs, meals, and companionship while following the care plan and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland CNA license is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Negative PPD test or Chest X-ray.
• Minimum 2 years of home health care experience.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management duties.
• Plan and prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Follow the care plan and maintain accurate care records.
• Offer companionship to promote independence and emotional well-being.
• Attend required in-service training and comply with regulations.

Visiting Angels is hiring reliable, experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) licensed in the state of Maryland to provide quality in-home care for a Weekend Live-In caregiver position.

Friday - Monday (Ongoing); Shift starts Fridays at 8:00 am & Shift ends Mondays at 8:00 am

We offer weekday, evening, and weekend shifts to fit your schedule. Candidates must have dependable transportation and a genuine passion for helping others maintain comfort and dignity in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management duties.
• Plan and prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Follow the nursing plan of care and maintain accurate care records.
• Encourage independence, mental alertness, and emotional well-being through companionship and support.
• Attend required in-service training and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:
