Job summary

Home2 Billings is seeking a Weekend Laundry Attendant to support our 40-housekeeping department. This hourly, part-time role focuses on washing, drying, folding, and storing linens per established standards on weekends.

You will operate washers and dryers, sort textiles, monitor machines, inspect items, and maintain a clean laundry area while following safety guidelines. Training is provided, and reliability is essential for weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift and move laundry bundles.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work weekend shifts.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple loads and tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Sort and process soiled linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms by type and soil level.
• Load and monitor machines, using detergents and chemicals correctly.
• Inspect items for stains or wear and determine rewash or disposal.
• Fold and organize clean linens to department standards.
• Label and rotate linen inventory for housekeeping and other departments.
• Keep laundry room clean and organized, including surfaces and floors.
• Report equipment issues or supply shortages to supervisor.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and chemical-handling guidelines (PPE).
• Support housekeeping during weekend shifts with urgent linen requests.
• Follow departmental policies, schedules, and timelines for timely processing.
• Work primarily on weekends and adapt to peak periods.
