Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Weekend Laundry Attendant to support our 40-housekeeping operations. This hourly, part-time role focuses on washing, drying, folding, and storing linens to established standards, with weekend shifts in a fast-paced back-of-house setting.

You will operate commercial washers and dryers, sort textiles by type and soil, monitor machines, and check for stains or wear. Training is provided, and reliability, attention to detail, and clear English communication

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move laundry.
• Willingness to follow safety, hygiene and chemical-handling procedures.
• Clear English communication required.
• Reliable and punctual, with weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment.
• Sort and process linens by type, color, and soil level.
• Load, unload, and monitor machines; use detergents and chemicals correctly.
• Inspect items for stains or wear; rewash as needed.
• Fold, stack, and organize clean linens to department standards.
• Store and rotate linen inventory for staffing needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow PPE and sanitation guidelines.
• Support housekeeping during peak periods and weekend shifts.
• Adhere to schedules to ensure laundry is available when needed.
• Work primarily on weekends and adjust to changing priorities.
