Job summary

McMenamins Thompson's Pub in Salem, OR is hiring a part-time line cook to handle a range of hot and cold foods, from salads to pizzas. Weekend availability is required. You will support opening to closing shifts, maintain a clean workstation, and work both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Previous cooking experience is preferred.
• Must obtain a current food handlers card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold foods, including salads, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas and weekly specials.
• Cook, grill, sauté and plate items to spec.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of your work area.
• Work independently or as part of a team and adhere to safety policies.
