Heritage Oaks is seeking a life enrichment professional to support residents with engaging programs. This part-time weekend position offers meaningful work, a supportive team, and opportunities to lead activities under supervision.

Starting pay is $13.10 per hour with weekly pay, benefits included, and a pathway to grow within a nonprofit, mission-driven organization dedicated to quality resident care.

Competenze

• Qualified life enrichment professional with at least 1 year of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years, or a qualified healthcare professional with at least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting.
• GHCA Activity Director State Approved 36-Hour Certification required or obtainable within the first year of employment.

Mansioni

• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating the life enrichment program under the Director of Life Enrichment Programs.
• Develop and maintain life enrichment calendars reflecting patient needs and special occasions.
• Promote ongoing delivery of life enrichment activities during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a volunteer program, including screening, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and resident care conferences as directed.
