Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial laundry preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled and sort articles by kind, color and soil level.
• Operate washers and dryers per hotel standards.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; report damages.
• Fold and store clean linens; report damages to supervisor.
• Clean and service rooms per standards; may include kitchens and appliances.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report unserviceable rooms.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action.
• Promote teamwork and communicate with shifts/managers.
• Follow health and safety regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
