Job summary

Seabury at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury, CT is seeking a part-time Laundry Worker to support our Environmental Services team. You will handle resident and healthcare linens, ensuring clean, fresh linens and a comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include following infection control and safety procedures, operating laundry equipment safely, and delivering linens throughout the community.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Commercial laundry experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and healthcare linens.
• Follow established infection control, safety, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with linen deliveries throughout the community.
• Support the Environmental Services team with additional duties as assigned.
