Qualifications

• Previous environmental services experience is helpful but not required.
• On-the-job training provided under supervision.
• Familiarity with cleaning devices such as brooms, mops and buffers.
• Interested in learning; cooperative and able to work under supervision.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must complete pre-employment and annual TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary facility conditions per supervisor directives.
• Keep resident areas tidy, dust furniture, and mop floors daily.
• Clean linens, clothing, and return to proper storage promptly.
• Work with co-workers to ensure a safe, respectful environment for residents.
• Handle soiled laundry, assist with supplies, and report needs to supervisor.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols for environmental services.
