Job summary

Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery is seeking a dedicated Laundry Department Associate to perform daily laundry duties, maintain cleanliness, and support residents with timely linen services. You will follow safety guidelines, handle soiled and clean textiles, and operate laundry equipment as directed.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting, with emphasis on accuracy, hygiene, and teamwork in a healthcare setting. On-site, full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare laundry preferred.
• Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Follows safety policies and uses PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and assures compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• File complaints/grievances with your supervisor.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment when lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Keep work areas free of hazards and follow MSDS guidelines.
• Operate laundry equipment and ensure proper storage of laundry items.
• Sort, wash, press/iron, and distribute clean laundry to residents daily.
• Transport laundry, linen, garments, etc., including pushing a cart >30 pounds.
• Clean floors and maintain walls/ceilings in common areas.
• Ensure residents' rights and maintain dignity and privacy.
