Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Microbiologist to lead simple projects, evaluate and complete test reports, and operate complex test instruments according to defined test plans. The role involves communicating with internal customers during setup to ensure proper evaluation of test samples.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited university in a relevant science field.
• Experience managing multiple projects with high-quality outputs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong teamwork and communication with internal customers.
• Willingness to work a weekend rotational shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow defined test plans and datasheets with supervision.
• Evaluate test performance and results.
• Record, explain, and complete test reports.
• Lead simple test programs with guidance.
• Communicate project status and results.
• Define test plans, reports, and deadlines.
• Operate and maintain test instruments.
• Train lab staff on procedures.
• Ensure safe chemical and microbiological practices.
