Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Courier I in Allentown, PA to ensure safe, timely pickup and delivery of food and environmental samples to our laboratories. You will use routing tools and mobile apps to manage routes, track deliveries, and document each step while delivering excellent customer service.

The job requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and comfort with mobile technology. Prior courier experience and knowledge of laboratory safety are a plus; this is a weekend shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years courier/delivery/transport experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license in state of operation.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs in past 5 years.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and delivery apps.
• Professional, reliable, and strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory operations preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures is a plus.
• Customer service, attention to detail, organization, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to transport samples between customer locations and laboratories.
• Ensure samples arrive on time and in proper condition with chain-of-custody docs.
• Use routing and driving mobile app to receive assignments, follow routes, log stops, upload photos.
• Provide professional customer service during pick-up and delivery interactions.
• Follow all company policies and state/federal driving regulations.
• Report accidents or vehicle issues per procedures.
• Coordinate with lab staff regarding sample schedules and priorities.
• Complete FDA collections and required photo documentation for warehouse or freezer samples.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional work environment.
• Participate in team initiatives and training on safety standards.
