Lexington Health is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery on Fri and Sat nights in West Columbia, SC. This 24-hour shift schedule pays for 36 hours and includes weekend-only LexPlan staffing with eligibility for full-time benefits and clinical differentials.

The RN will utilize the nursing process, provide care, support families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, while following state nursing practice standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma or BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore the patient’s health status; collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provides physical and psychological support to patients, family members and significant others; supervises assigned team members.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols and ensures safe medication administration and storage.
