Austin Community College District is seeking an Assistant for Weekend Kennel duties in a veterinary setting. The role involves feeding, walking, and caring for dogs and cats, as well as cleaning kennels and entering notes into management software.

This is an hourly, part-time position with a maximum of 19 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have basic animal care experience, comfort with animal behavior, and basic computer skills to document care.

Formación

• Basic animal care knowledge.
• Ability to handle animal behavior.
• Basic computer skills for entering notes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food for dogs and cats.
• Walk/exercise dogs and cats.
• Clean and sanitize cages/runs.
• Administer oral/topical medications to animals.
• Perform basic housekeeping (mopping, sweeping, laundry).
• Enter patient notes into practice management software.
