Steven Singer Jewelers seeks a Showroom Sales Assistant to support our sales team and ensure a seamless customer experience. You will greet customers, handle inquiries, place orders, manage inventory, and assist with repairs and cleaning to keep the showroom inviting.

Weekend availability is required, and the role offers either part-time or full-time schedules. A background check is required for all final candidates to maintain a secure, trusted workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail or jewelry environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in handling phone calls and inquiries professionally.
• Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, eager to learn and a strong team player.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and special requests.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally; address inquiries, take messages, and forward calls to the team.
• Assist with placing orders, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and delivery details.
• Maintain and organize inventory, ensure accurate stock levels and displays.
• Coordinate and track repairs and cleanings with in-house jeweler for timely service.
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records.
• Collaborate with sales team to meet individual and store-wide sales targets.
• Help set up store displays to present products attractively.
• Stay updated with product knowledge, trends, and promotions.
