Job summary

Filterbuy, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Material Handler for weekend shifts in Ogden, UT. The role emphasizes accurate cycle counts, inventory troubleshooting, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Shipping to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, meticulous accuracy, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Report-to is Inventory Supervisor; schedule Friday–Monday, 6:30am–5:00pm, long-term position.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of word and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner is essential in this position.
• In-depth understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to develop ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory.
• Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Maintain inventory systems and update related databases under supervision.
• Prioritize workload effectively.
• Communicate with other departments.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials and products.
• Conduct frequent spot checks and daily audits of inventory.
• Use pallet jacks to move finished goods and consolidate storage locations.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
• Assist in training less experienced inventory workers.
• Operate forklift when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
