Job summary

Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to provide occasional PRN weekend coverage at Laurel Heights Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

This opportunity targets experienced providers who thrive in inpatient behavioral health and are comfortable caring for child and adolescent populations; GA license and DEA registration are preferred, with weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certified PMHNP-BC or Psychiatric Physician Assistant.
• Active Georgia license or ability to obtain.
• DEA registration or eligibility required.
• Previous inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred.
• Child and adolescent psychiatric experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute psychiatric conditions.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and case management.
• Complete accurate documentation within the EMR.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an inpatient setting.
