Qualifications

• Board Certified PMHNP-BC or psychiatry-certified PA.
• Active Florida license or eligibility.
• Florida DEA license or eligibility.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry or acute mental health.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment response.
• Participate in daily inpatient rounding.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing staff, and hospital teams.
• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation.
