Job summary

The candidate will work part-time with a schedule that alternates weekends, including long shift options. Prior phlebotomy experience and a Michigan driver's license are essential, with BLS/CPR required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association required.
• Phlebotomist certification preferred.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License with no restrictions required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, order and submit samples for analysis while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information System and patient data accuracy.
• Identify and label specimens correctly with patient information.
• Deliver identified specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Perform off-site phlebotomy as assigned.
• Manage phlebotomy trays and supply inventory.
