Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced pharmacist for an every/other weekend shift in inpatient operations. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure safe, effective medication use.

The ideal candidate has a Massachusetts pharmacist license and 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience, with inpatient pediatrics experience preferred. EPIC Willow and Beacon experience is a plus, and the role offers flexible scheduling within the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required, Doctorate preferred.
• Two to three years general pharmacy experience or one year pediatric experience with internship.
• Inpatient hospital pharmacist experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee controlled substances distribution and non-sterile compounding oversight.
• Interpret and evaluate medication orders for appropriate drug/dose and potential adverse effects.
• Review, fill and dispense physician orders/prescriptions.
