Job summary

Haydon-Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM). You will diagnose and repair mechanical problems, inspect motors and gearboxes, and support preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with presses and mills, welding skills, and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

6+ years of repairing/maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Experience with presses and mills.
Experience with welding and minor repairs/adjustments.
Knowledge of single and 3 phase power requirements.
Understanding of hydraulic systems including maintenance/troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of PLCs and operation.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
Communicate daily with supervisor and maintenance leadership.
Provide updates on machine conditions and maintenance progress.
Inspect A/C motors, gearboxes, presses, resistance welders, and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and update schedules as needed.
Replace worn parts and fluids; test and adjust components.
Maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
