Job summary

Leidos is hiring two Incident Responders to support our cybersecurity team at the ONI Hopper Global Communications Center in Suitland, MD. This role defends critical maritime networks and requires handling incidents across the response lifecycle, coordinating with security and intelligence partners.

The positions are part-time with 24 hours per week, starting with full-time training during the day, then transitioning to weekend shifts. Applicants must have TS/SCI and relevant CND/SIEM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with required experience in cyber security or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required for the role.
• Extensive experience in Computer Network Defense (CND).
• Experience monitoring and investigating alerts from cybersecurity tools.
• Experience with SIEM systems such as Splunk and Elastic.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of the incident response lifecycle from detection to recovery.
• Receive and act on escalations for TS/SCI networks and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Respond to incident notifications via phone or email and maintain incident timelines.
• Prepare ESFAs for the NNWC Electronic Spillage Center.
• Monitor DLP outputs for indicators and potential spillage.
