Care to Stay Home is actively hiring compassionate caregivers to support our growing client base in the northern Idaho area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centered care that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home.

We provide training to become a licensed HCA for candidates without current licenses, and we offer flexible scheduling, strong benefits, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred, especially with seniors; training provided for right candidate.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and respect for client dignity.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to small details.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections through conversation and companionship.
• Provide hands-on personal care with respect and compassion.
• Support safe movement, mobility, and simple exercises.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Prepare nourishing meals and encourage hydration.
• Offer medication reminders and observe changes in condition.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and staying engaged in the community.
