Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a smile and eye contact as they enter the restaurant.
• Answer guest questions about flow, food, beverages, the restaurant, and its story.
• Keep guests entertained and engaged while waiting or in line.
• Lead guests to a clean, properly set table and hand them the menus after seating.
• Monitor table availability and manage seating for groups and parties.
• Communicate with servers and managers about table status and special requests.
• Handle guest complaints by listening, informing a manager, and resolving issues.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
