Job summary

St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to provide essential weekend coverage every other Saturday and Sunday, at our 50-bed inpatient rehab facility. The role offers autonomy with a small interdisciplinary team and structured weekend schedule.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy; BS Pharm or PharmD required.
Current state license to practice pharmacy.
Two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred; residency or BCPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify physician medication orders for accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor medication management processes and identify risk points; drive quality improvements.
Verify and approve work by Pharmacy Technicians; provide coaching.
Order, receive, and store medications to maintain integrity and compliance.
Review patient-specific drug therapy for indications, dosing, interactions, and contraindications.
Perform anticoagulant monitoring and communicate dose recommendations.
