Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse with three to five years of hospice experience is required.
• Minimum of three years of hospice experience is required.
• Current RN license to practice nursing in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to referrals from healthcare professionals.
• Assess patient eligibility for hospice services.
• Educate patients and families on hospice care.

Skills

Strong knowledge of hospice care

Excellent patient assessment skills

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with community resources

Education
