Serenity Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide end-of-life care across Burlington, Camden, and Mercer Counties. The role covers weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.) with 24 hours per weekend, focusing on patient comfort and symptom management.

The RN will perform hospice admissions, coordinate care, educate families, and ensure accurate documentation, collaborating with the hospice team to maintain continuity of care.

Competenze

• Current, active New Jersey RN license.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing patient needs.
• Availability to work Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the three-county service area.
• Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide end-of-life visits, focusing on patient comfort, symptom management, and family support.
• Complete hospice admissions, including assessments, documentation, and coordination of care.
• Perform scheduled and urgent patient visits based on clinical needs.
• Assess changes in patient condition and coordinate appropriate interventions with the hospice team.
