Job summary

Active Day is seeking caring Personal Care Aides to support clients on Saturdays and Sundays, providing essential daily living assistance. The role involves health monitoring, transportation support, and promoting clients' health and happiness in home settings.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, legal eligibility for driving roles, and strong communication skills. Background checks and regulatory requirements apply where applicable; lifting and physical activity are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ for positions not requiring driving; 21+ for driving/running errands.
• Background check and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist with home tasks: light cleaning, laundry, shopping, and home safety.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks; assist with feeding as needed.
• Observe health changes and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Run errands and accompany clients to appointments when needed.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, uncluttered environment and report issues.
