Job summary

Visiting Angels of Southern Pines is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to support clients across Sanford and nearby towns. You will empower clients by helping with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safety monitoring, while providing companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong time-management skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients; assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and monitor health changes or incidents.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips and appointments.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers.
