Job summary

Avera Holy Family Hospital in Rapid City, SD is hiring a full-time driver responsible for pickup, transport and delivery of materials and supplies. The role requires safe vehicle operation, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities include timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and supporting the supervisor with additional tasks when not delivering.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License (Licensing Board Upon Hire).
• High School or GED preferred; related experience and/or training may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensures pick-ups and deliveries are handled within scheduled time frames according to standards and procedures.
• Delivers supplies, correspondence, and reports in a safe, confidential and timely manner.
• Files all tracking documents appropriately.
• Operates vehicle safely in all weather and road conditions while observing speed limits.
• Acts as a liaison between customer and client personnel.
• Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Communicates with clients in a customer-friendly manner.
• Assists supervisor with ancillary duties when no deliveries are needed.
