Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one care in the Strongsville area, focused on weekend shifts. This part-time role offers consistent hours, RN oversight, and a supportive team in a home care setting.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, medications, and companionship while maintaining client confidentiality and following each plan of care. A valid CPR certification and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year caregiving or direct care experience preferred.
• HHA/STNA/CNA training preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Follow the client’s individualized plan of care.
